Lead a Fun Club Activity! – Fill out Interest Form
Fun Club is our most popular program catered to our kids! This has been a time dedicated for our friends and volunteers to stay connected and have some fun – whether we’re playing Jeopardy, having a show or tell, or making Valentine’s cards for one another. We invite you to join us or even lead an activity of your own to keep things interesting and creative in this new virtual space.
Tutoring – Fill out Interest Form
On average, 1:1 tutoring is one hour, once a week. Tutoring is open for all of our clients, K-12 and adults alike.
Translation Work – Fill out Interest Form
We have a range of live and/or written translation opportunities at Welcome Home. Some examples include sitting in on parent-teacher conferences for clients or providing translations for our weekly programming invites.
Urgent Client Support – Fill out Interest Form
We have a range of opportunities for Urgent Client Support work at Welcome Home. Some examples include helping clients fill out time-sensitive applications for government assistance or scheduling appointments on behalf of clients.
Client Employment Support – Fill out Interest Form
Provide support to our clients looking for work by sourcing job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting mock interviews, and/or driving clients to/from job interviews. Know of any open jobs? Flag job opportunities for our clients here!
Join our Grant Team! – Fill out Interest Form
Welcome Home is able to provide the level of support we do to our clients because of volunteers like you and from grants. Various grants have helped us pay for things like rent relief and 1:1 laptops for every student. If you are interested in helping source and/or write grants for Welcome Home, please consider joining our Grant Team.
Help with Deliveries! – Fill out Interest Form
At Welcome Home, we are often looking for Volunteer Drivers. This can be for helping deliver food, move furniture, and more.
