Rent for Refugees, a fundraising campaign organized by The City of Hoboken

In Hoboken, we know that being a good neighbor extends far beyond the borders of our Mile Square City. As such, together with Welcome Home and The Hoboken Relief Fund, the City of Hoboken is adopting the town of Bialystok, Poland, to provide Rent for Refugees, housing assistance for those who have fled war-torn Ukraine. By partnering directly with private charities on the ground in this border town, we can provide furnished apartments for refugees from Ukraine, who have left their homes with little more than the clothes they are wearing. A furnished apartment for five people is approximately $450 a month, and we have set a goal of renting ten apartments. Any amount helps. Please donate today!

  1. Thank you, City of Hoboken, for organizing this. It is truly horrible what is happening in Ukraine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

  2. Thank you City of Hoboken for the Ukrainian flag-raising ceremony yesterday. It was a wonderful event and the speakers were amazing.

Thank you also for this rent program. I hope it will help many refugees.

My husband, Rich, is in Heaven. He was third generation 100 percent Ukrainian and second generation Ukrainian-American.

My prayers are with the Ukrainian people and seeing their beautiful flag fly over Hoboken is heartwarming.

    Thank you🇺🇦🇺🇸

The women and children of Ukraine whose husbands, brothers, fathers are fighting for all the freedoms Americans
    take for granted.

  10. I am a Genealogist with roots in Bialystok. My mother was born there. I was trying to find an easy way to get money to Bialystok to help them welcome and aid displaced Ukrainian families. I have a group mailing list of over a thousand other genealogists with roots in Bialystok. I have a few questions before I can suggest to these fellow Bialystokers to contribute through your fund. Can someone please contact me by email. Thanks.
